batch converting ai (pdf) to jpg with bridge
I guess I’m not sure if this is even a valid place to post this question but I am having some difficulty in opening a series of .ai files (from illustrator cs2) and converting them to jpg. I’m sure there is an easy way to create an action to make this conversion but all of my attempts have failed. The source images are from a video set and I’d sure like to be able to convert the series to jpg before using them as an image sequence in After Effects.
I’ve tried my hand at creating a new action, using the batch feature, and even the image processor but I am obviously doing some things wrong. any ideas, tips, or actions available out there to help me out? I’m only staring down a series of 180 images (12 seconds of video at 15fps) but I’d like to use the same method for a big chunk of video and the time required is looking prohibitive. any information would be greatly appreciated!

DO NOT USE JPEGS FOR VIDEO WORK!
Distribution format… not authroing format.
Import your AI files right into AE….
Or if you need to convert a bunch of iamges… you can try Image Processor script in PS or Bridge
