problem with white background
hello as you can see in the photo my problem is that when i copy thins food with white plate on white background you can see some idk like dots between edges of plate and white background and i dont know how to get rid of it please help me this happens everytime i copy photo to a white background

The methodology you are using for the cut-out can be improved. From the result I can only tell that you’re using the polygonal lasso tool with a feathered edge to cut it out, maybe with a refine edge step in between. I see a few problems there:
1) The polygonal lasso points are too far apart resulting in obvious corners at each point
2) The feather (softness of the selection) is too large for the plate edge and too small for the shadow
3) The smaller white dots are from the original photo itself
4) The larger white blobs are from the refine edge effect (I assume)
5) The color of the photos has not been corrected in any way so you end up with a blue-green plate instead of a white one (and blue-greenish food as well)If you can upload an original, I can give some pointers.

so my friends wants me to edit this pic for his webiste, so i changed colors a little bit so it looks better.
things i did
1) i used camera raw effect
2) Solid colour, fill, brown, than Soft light i chose the layer mask i press ctrl + i than i painted with brush with 50% opacity
3)i did the same for colors i needed
4) New adjustent layer, gradiant map, 50% gray and i choose colors i wanted, soft light, than changed to layer mask opacity to 40%
thats basicly it but what i want to know is that how can i copy that plate on white background so it wont have edges and so -
i didnt use laso tool i used Pen tool or sometimes quick selection tool, than i would use redefine edges to make it look okay

Hi Aleksandar,
The pen tool isn’t one of the easiest tools to use well. You have to have plenty of practice with it to make it look right. Here I cut the plate out with the pen tool, adding a 1-pixel feather for the edges, that was all it needed. Then I duplicated the plate layer, filled it with something that looks like the shadow color, but darker and added noise to it (the shadow layer only) so it doesn’t look to fake, offset it down and changed the feather to 5 points for a softer look.
I got rid of the blue cast (overall color in the image) that was still there and pushed the color toward orange, a more appealing color for something that has been fried, and brightened the greenery considerably so it looks fresh. The plate needs to be very neutral to appear white, so I desaturated it by a further 50% (in addition the over the overall color correction).
I think this could be a pretty good model to aim at. Slightly oversaturated colors look more appetizing that the “real” colors. It is more a matter of perception than adhering to total realism.
