    Hello,

When I make a selection using my Lasso Tool, and then want to make another (separate from the first) selection on the same layer/image, I lose the first selection I made.

Is it possible to keep the first while making the second?

    Thanks,

    Gary

    P.S. I’m using CS

Yes, hold down the shift key while you make your second selection. That will add it to your first selection.

Just so you know what else is available, if you hold down opt/alt while using a selection tool you can subtract from your selection area as well.
