  • Looking for a quick key command to create a new file from a selection

I was sent a .jpg that turned out to be a scan of 4 photos. What is the fastest way to create 4 new files from each of the images within the original?

My first thought was to make a selection around a photo and use a quick key command to create a new file from the selection, save the new file, return to original scan and repeat process for each pic. However, I can’t find the command. I could have sworn I saw it in a demo once, but I can’t place it. Does it exist?

Right now I have it down to three steps: 1. Copy, 2. Create New File, 3. Paste. This works alright, but if there are any faster ways, I’d appreciate the help.

    Thanks.
