  PE 2.0 restoring old photos

  I have some 30+ year old pictures which are fading to a reddish-brown color. I am not really sure what the original colors should be, so I do not want to change the hue settings too much.

  What is the best way to bring the color back to these photographs in Photoshop Elements 2.0?

  There are a couple of techniques, but apart from color-correcting these images, do you want to remove any dust or scratches also?

  For the most part, the scratches and dust don’t seem too bad. Mainly, for what I am using these for, just the orginal color would be good enough.
