  banding problems

  I have severe banding problems in photoshop and i don’t know how to fix it. In the image I attached, these are two simple colors that I used a basic soft brush to blend and this is the result – even after using a lower opacity

  I’ve been using photoshop for a long time, i haven’t changed the device or anything but I’ve only encountered this problem recently

  please help!

  Is the file you work on a 16bpc file?
