Though I am not sure about the solution but I guess the font is missing. First try to install the font and then see the difference after saving the text.

Thanks for your reply Jannatul, but I don’t think this is the problem. I’m using Comic Sans font and it is not missing from my computer.

Hey can you send me the link to the style you used or can you send the actual PSD file? Also, what version of PS are you using? When you save the PSD file, do you set it to maximize compatibility? Finally, can you list the steps you take or have taken? Just for the text I mean. 🙂

    Hi Jonathan,

Here’s a PSD of the text with the style: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ygsj6hb59s0uw5n/type.psd?dl=0
and here’s my original problematic document with the text: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3gvbkuy8wdhp3hy/aladdin-page1_problematic-type.psd?dl=0

I’m using CS6 on a mac. I turn off maximize compatibility as that just seems to bloat the document size.

Something strange, when I zoomed up closer to my text in my document, it changed and lost its fancy look and became like what it looks like after the save. So I’ve been zooming up close to it and then increasing the bevel and stroke etc in the style and then when I zoom out and then save the look of it sticks.
    Strange.

    Thanks
    Camille

Well, I’m not seeing the issue you described. Tried clearing the style, recreating it, pasting it, etc. Saving had no noticeable impact. For reference, I’m running PS CC 2014 on a Mac, 32GB RAM, bla, bla, bla.

Might be your machine or CS6… I’m stumped. Only thing i can think is that CS6 needs updating? Sorry I couldn’t be more help, but glad to see it’s working with some wrangling, tho.

Sorry not being so helpful. I am wondering then why the text styling has been changing!
