  Dashed line moves when trimming it

  Hi,

  I’m trying to trim a dashed line and animate that. Growing the line works perfectly fine. Just keyframe the End value from 0 to 100. But shrinking it by key framing the Start value from 0 to 100 makes the line move up. Is there a way to solve this?

  And something similar happens when I try to let a different dashed line grow. After it has grown, the dashes seem to adjust themselves…

  If you’re doing this with a shape layer using trim paths, its likely that the layer’s anchor point needs to move.

  Scale and other transforms are connected to the anchor point.

  Using the pan behind tool to move the anchor point to the beginning of the line should solve the issue.
