  Shadows in Fog

  I am working on a composit and I am trying to create some fog/mist with shadows in them (coming towards the camera). Sort of like in these images, but a bit more defined:

  I have tried some things, but nothing looked satisfactory. Does anyone know any tutorials or have any tips/techniques?
