  Trying to identify a graphics technique

  Ive seen this particular technique used on several portfolio styled websites trying to figure out is this something totally done in photoshop?

  Im referring to the background image…chair,lamp,sky,grass,fence,etc
  any feedback would be appreciated?

  Looks like it was done in Photoshop to me. Objects cut out and pasted into layers above one another, with drop shadows to add dimension.
