  I imported an image from a digital camera into Photoshop but the it is very pixilated.
  How can I create a smooth line to the image? Thanks.

  How many pixels wide and tall is your image?

  Well, there’s your answer.

  Your image is lo-resolution. Not meant for printing.

  You need to have your camera settings to the highest possible resolution…
  Then you can zoom in and it won’t look pixelated.

  640 x 480 @ 72 dpi (dots per inch) gets you an image sized at 8.8″ x 6.6″ inches.

  But for your picture to look decent for printing (off of your desktop printer) it should
  ATLEAST be 150 dpi, which at 8.8″ x 6.6 would be 1320 x 990.

  If you were printing professionally (on a press) your image needs to be 300 dpi…
  or 2640 x 1980 pixels… to get you an idea.
