Hi i’m having a problem on making a gif animation and hope somebody can give me a hand here.
I’ve exported a tiff sequence from cinema 4d with alpha enabled. Then in Photoshop, when i import the images they are opaque (with black background)
The original layer has an alpha channel but when i place it in to a new layer the alpha is gone.
Sorry for my ignorance, i’m just a beginner in ps.
Thank you for this wonderful resource spot!

You can load the alpha and apply as a layer mask (if you need to see the transparency in PS)

Otherwise… trust its there and will show up in a video or animation program

if you want transparency in PS.. save as a PNG sequence.
