  Photoshop video document sizes are different in CS4, why?

  Hey Everyone,

  I go to create a new NTSC D1 comp in photoshop which I’ve done at home with CS2 and at work with CS3 all the time. Well, I was at a client’s office and go to do the same in CS4 and the dimensions are different. Here’s an example:

  

  Any ideas as to why they changed this? Did Adobe change the dimensions of D1 video? 🙂 I know they are powerful…but that is impressive!

  Well, I can begin to answer my question…they’ve changed the PAR.

  The old 1.2 is now 1.21 and the old .9 is .91. That is the reason for the different number, but why? Have we been doing it wrong for the last several years? Any ideas?

  Don’t stress it…. yes… you have been slightly wrong according to some… but remember total pixels are same… just how they are simulate on a computer monitor (which really doesn’t matter). View video graphics on a video device.
