    Anyone know how the smooth noise skin tone effect is achieved on the attached image? I’m talking about those strikingly “artificial” skin tones you can see on many movie posters.

    Making a Selection
    Use Filter Blur – Average
    THen Using Edit > Fade and blending it back to original partially

    Whoa, hold up. That effect should be applied to a new layer that has copied the original image, right?
