  loading new textures presets

  I took a cu of a tennis ball and I’m trying to load it into the pattern presets so I can use it in texture effect to texturize text. I now have a .pat in my patterns folder in my library but it will not come up as an option with the texturize effect. What am I doing wrong?

  I assume the filter you are trying to use is filter >> texture >> textrizer.

  What you can do is save a grayscale .psd file of your pattern, then apply the texturizer filter, use the flyout menu in textrizer choose load texture and then choose the .psd you saved.
