    Hello,

When opening a specific project on AE CS4, I receive the message telling me to install the following effects “S_Posterize, S_Dissolve, S_Solarize”. However, all of these plugins are installed and as far as I can see shouldn’t be causing a problem.

Yet this issue not only happens on CS4 but on CS6 with exactly the same error message on three different machines. Is it possible that perhaps it needs another version with a different bit rate? I’m completely unsure about the matter and would appreciate some insight.

    Here are the specs for the computer I’m currently using;
    Model Name: Mac Pro
    Model Identifier: MacPro5,1
    Processor Name: 6-Core Intel Xeon
    Processor Speed: 2.93 GHz
    Number Of Processors: 2
    Total Number Of Cores: 12
L2 Cache (per core): 256 KB
L3 Cache (per processor): 12 MB
    Memory: 24 GB
    Processor Interconnect Speed: 6.4 GT/s
    Boot ROM Version: MP51.007F.B03

Thank you so much for your time.

Those are GenArts Sapphire effects, and they are not built-in:

CS4 uses 32-bit plugins, CS5 and above use 64-bit plugins.

Thank you for clearing that up, Walter. That’s a really big help. Do you know why they would have stopped working now? They were used for this project without any prior problems but now it seems that all at once they it’s decided to ignore the plugins on three separate computers.

You’re certain they’re still installed? You can see them in the Effects & Presets panel and apply them in new projects?

I’ve just double checked and yes, they are still installed. They come up when I search for them and when I apply them to a solid they work but when used in the specific project it says they’re missing. I can’t identify the problem at all!
