  new camera- help!

  Just bought the panasonic pv dv500. Haven’t had a video camera since my old high 8. Need all there is to know standing on one foot for downloading and editing film to my pc xp home. Am novice but not idiot. Anyone feeling kind enuf to connect me? willing to buy basic programs. Have photoshop elements. to the boyscout or girlschout who is out there – Thank you for helping an old lady cross the street.
