Concentric Halo Outlines?
I’m trying to create very thin concentric outlines for text so as to import into Macromedia Flash. I want to dynamically manipulate the color and transparency of each outline to create a glowing halo effect. I’ve been fiddling with things like offset path, but I can’t figure out how to subtract the paths so that they fit snuggly without overlapping. If parts of the paths are hidden underneath other paths it would cause a performance hit in Flash. I would be much obliged if someone could give me a few hints as to how to accomplish this.
