    Hi Guys.
I’m having problems trying to render (output) my project.
The project is 40 minutes, it renders about 3/4 and then stops with an error message.
Here is the system I’m running:
    iMac OS X 10.9.5
    3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
    24 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory
NVIDIA GForce GTX 680MS 2048 MB

Here is an image of the error.

    Thank you in advance,

    Kingsley.

Are you using the render queue or AME?

    Hi Tudor,
    I’m using the render queue.

Are you using large PSD or other image format files?

Is it a 3d composition and if so, what render engine are you using?

Try using Encoder to render out and make sure you close AE, however, the issue may be caused by a large image file and the render may crash again. One thing to do to isolate the issue is to try to render a small piece of the project around the crash point as still files and then to figure out at what exact point the crash occurs. This way you can see if it happens when a new layer or effect comes in play and go from there.

There are no PSD files or 3d composition, they are mainly illustrator files, hd video and some png files.
Also I have rendered around the crash point and it renders fine. As it stops around the 31 minute point I have render the last 9 minutes which includes the crash point and it rendered without any errors.
I thought it may have been running out of memory when it gets to the 31st minute.
And how do I rendere in Encoder from AE?

    Thanks,

    Kingsley.

Here’s some good info regarding AI files in AE (this may be why it crashes):

As far as rendering from AME this is where you should start:
