  Rain, lightning, text, and casting shadows thereupon

  Good morning:
  The image in my head:
  Rain in the foreground, black background.
  A flash of lighting (not the bolt, just the light) illuminates 3D text (ex. the word ‘TRUCE’), casting rainfall shadows on the surface of the text, then returns to just rain. Later down the time line, another flash illuminating different text.
  I am using Lynda.com tutorials to educate myself with AE, but am working on a title sequence for a play I just shot and need some help “advancing” my knowledge.
  Thanks for any suggestions, assistance, or tutorials you can provide.

  I cant play the video, it never loads?
