Animating Text Expression: How to Insert Line of Text
Hi there!
I am animating text being typed out on screen. I am using an offset expression to have the text appear on screen as if it was being typed on. This part works great!
What I would like to do next, is animate a sentence being inserted in the middle of the paragraph, as if you were editing an email or essay on your computer. Is there an easy way to animate the source text doing this without animating frame-by-frame?

A pretty simple way would be to use your typing expression for the part being added and two other text layers for the text before and after. These three layers would be hidden. Then combine the three into a fourth text layer’s source text with pickwhip, adding + in between each.
