x position move randomly
excuse me sir, can you help me, i want to make x position move randomly, actually i want to animate hair, i’ve many puppet pin, and link it with null object,
ex : puppet pin 1 linked with null object 1
this is puppet pin expression linked null object 1n=thisComp.layer(“null_object_1”)
nullpos=n.toComp(n.anchorPoint);
fromComp(nullpos);puppet pin 2 linked with null object 2, and many others
, and i make 1 controller, so i make all of null object parent to controller….
and the problem is i dont know the random expression to make controller x position move randomly and looks like hair animate, or you have another ways to animate hair, please share it to me, very very needed it.

You can download DUIK her :
https://rainboxprod.coop/fr/outils/duik/
with this tool, you can create Inverse Kinematic hair locks and animate just the controller and get the whole hair lock to move with it.
There are a bunch of tutorials on DUIK on youtube and vimeo.Then, if you want your controllers to move randomely, put this expression in it’s position (“a” is how many wiggles per second, “b” is how many pixels for max wiggle) :
a = 0.25;
b = 50;
x = wiggle(0.25, 50);[x[0], transform.position[1]];
