  Is my After Effects updated ?

  Hello.

  I am new to After Effects, which I purchased some months ago.

  When I press “About After Effects” it says
  “Adobe After Effects CC” and “Version 12.2.1.15”.

  Does this mean, that my software is up to date, or am I far off ?

  I have never updated After Effects, but I do not know, if it does this automatically.

  I actually was believing, that my After Effects was called CS6; somehow.

  Am I mixing things together here ?

  Ae does not update automatically. Here’s how to update with Creative Cloud:
  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html

  The current version of Ae is 13.1.

  I’m about to purchase a Mavbook Pro (currently have a Macbook Air) and am wondering how to get AE on this new Macbook Pro ? Meaning using my AE account.
