    Hi all,

I’m trying to get a laggy, “bad-internet-type” of speed effect in a normal clip. I thought about using a simple wiggle expression on the time remap, but of course this randomises the speed both forwards and backwards, which doesn’t work for me or is simply giving me the wrong effect.

What type of expression should I use on the time-remap of a clip, so it randomises the speed but still plays always forward.

Imagine a skype video with a bad internet connection, that’s the effect I’m looking for.

    God bless you all,

    e.

you might try using the timewarp effect and using wiggle on the speed setting.

i think as long as your wiggle amount value is less than the speed setting that you set (the default is 50%) it should always move forward in time… say you set the value to 100, and have a wiggle amount of 50, the speed of the clip should only vary between 50% and 150%, but should never go backwards (like -50%…)
