  Linking 3D null point light to 2D layer won’t work

  Hi!

  Following this tutorial:
  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frXQxwMKh6c

  I can’t for the life of me get that code part to work, and so my effect doesn’t work properly.
  It kept giving me a syntax error when I typed it like it is in the video.

  So I looked for another answer and tried with the code in this post.

  But now I get a different error. It says “layer named “Point” is missing or does not exist”
  How is it possible, when it DOES exist and it’s right there?

  L = thisComp.layer("Point");
L.toComp([0,0,0]);

  Make sure the layer’s name doesn’t have an extra space at the beginning or end. To be sure they match exactly, you could try copying the name from the expression and pasting it into the layer’s name. That’s the only thing I can think of without seeing the comp.

  Ok, so I renamed it again and again, but no luck.

  Then, I just renamed it and didn’t write anything in, and it renamed to the default “Null 1”.
  Changed that in the code and it WORKED.

  OH MY GOD.

  Makes no sense whatsoever, but hey, problem solved!!
