  Move or remove a tabPanel

  Hello,
  I’ve got a script which has 7 tabpanels. I would like to add a kind of “pref button” which would be able to remove a tabpanel from my script.
  I tried a “hide()” function, it works, but it’s not what I want : i would like that the next tabs shift instead of this tab i removed (sorry for my bad english!) : is it possible?
