Tying layers to other layers position and scale
Hello people,
I’ve been working in AE for many years, but not much (read: virtually not at all) with expressions. They are voodoo that hurt my brain. However, I’m on a job right now that will require tool kitting as part of the delivery. There are a number of lower thirds that have intricate relationships between the various elements, and I need to be able to set up a dynamic way for the length of type A to affect the placement of type B, the length of type B to affect the placement of box C which contains type D, which will effect the length of box C, etc, etc. Its a chain reaction of 5 to 7, or so elements.
I was really hoping some expressions geniuses out there might help me with an approach and syntax, and so forth. Remember, I’m an expressions idiot. I pretty much know how to pickwip.
I truly appreciate any help anyone can offer.
