can anyone point me in the right direction..

i want to create a trail of footprints that are centred on the screen (with the footprints scrolling off to the left as the new ones appear in the centre).
I can do this manually easy enough, but there must be a cleverer way using effects/expression to do this?

Have you tried using one of the particle generators(I’d use particular)? That would be a pretty easy way to create footprints.

i’ve not tried a particle – i can vaguely see how that would work

    this is where i’m at

currently i have 8 seconds of footprints, which i’m then just duplicating / shifting horizontally
