  Parent A Null Object to a point on a Line (Pen Tool)

  Hi Everyone
  I’m making a puppet in after effects ad I want to attach points on an eyebrow to a line I have made with the Pen tool. As far as I can tell, it doesn’t seem like you can really animate a line.

  So far I have attached the pins to a Null object, which I was then hoping I could attach to a line. The animators would then use that line as a controller to animate the eyebrows and simply be able to adjust the tangents on the line instead of moving each null object. I’m fair new to rigging so I have no idea if this is in the realm of possibility. It seems like it could be done using masks or paths (like the Text path effect) but I can’t find a path effect for Objects. I’ve attached an image below so you can see the use I have in mind.
