I’ve been tasked with replacing the LCD on this here pager, which is now white tape, as well as stabilizing the beginning of the footage when the dolly move begins. I’m having trouble figuring out how to stabilize the beginning without having it look different when I cut back after the move is smooth. Also, I tried stabilizing the whole shot, but it looked a little odd with the Warp Stabilizer. Maybe I should only be doing P,R,S instead of smoothing out the motion and manually reposition? Either way I’m going to end up rendering out an entirely new DPX sequence and doing the track on that, correct? I’ve never dealt with a one shot like this before so I’m asking for help and it looks pretty tough. Below is the shot to look at. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much!

I would planar track (Mocha seems the way to go) and replace the pager screen before doing any stabilizing work.
Who still uses a pager anyway?!?
