    Hello,

I’m an AE semi-pro but definitely an expressions newbie…

I’m animating some grass waving in the breeze. It’s a background element so I just applied the corner pin effect to it (a psd) and I want to apply the wiggle expression to the top two corners, but I only want to affect the X axis so the top of the layer only blows side to side. How can I apply wiggle to the layer and only affect one axis?

If anyone has a better way of achieving this effect I’m open to suggesttions. Thanks very much.

Very helpful, But I don’t quite have my head wrapped around the 0 and 1 values. I needed to wiggle a 3D object along the x and y axis only so I used [w[0], w[1], value[2]] and it worked great. but I don’t fully understand the logic behind the 0, 1, and 2 values. do you always number array values starting at zero, going up one for each value in the array?

    Thanks.

For anyone finding this, the Jiggle script may be a useful time-saver especially if you’re not comfortable with expressions.

    Yes. That’s correct.
