    i hope someone can help me. i’m new in using expression so i would be appreciate if someone can help me with this problem.

    i need to know how to do expression to animate text (alphabets) that will come out from a jar. the story is all texts(alphabets) will looks like stored inside a jar and as the camera moving the text(alphabets) will come out from a jar. i need the text(alphabets) comeout like the effects when we blow the dandelion or something like to set free all the text(alphabets) and finally it will compose become a word.

    Hi there,

    I would do the basic animation by hand, from point a to point B, and use a wiggle whose amount is tied to sliders, to add randomness inbetween.

    But the basic animation should probably best be done by hand.

    You could use expressions if you use a monospace font, that way you’re certain that every letter is exactly x pixels further ot the right than the previous, and if every letter is a layer, their positions to form a word can be calculated.

    I did something like this once when I was experimenting with automatic anagram animations:

    I think it wouldn’t be too hard to change that script to have the letters start out at a single position (perhaps with some randomness) -> the jar, and then evolve to their word position.
