  linking cameras in different comps

  Is there a way to link the cameras in different comps with expressions?
  I would like to have the camera in Comp2 follow the camera in Comp1. I’ve been copying and pasting cameras from one comp to another every time I made a change.

  You can link cameras without problems by using the pickwhip. Just separate the two timelines into separate windows and then link each parameter from one comp to another.
