    Hi,
I would like to create my own magnifier, for exemple having a top layer going over an other one and seeing though this layer the one underneath but at a different scale.

    Hope you can help

    Thanks Mat

I’m not clear why this shoudl require any expression at all. Feel free to scale your layer up and mask it with a circular maks or whatever. Relative position coordinates do not change just by scaling a layer, so expressions are unnecessary.

this is what I am using now but it is not very precise. Lets imagine we have 2 layers as you said, one scaled up with a mask and an other one with normal size. The image shown thru the mask will not be the corresponding image you should have as if you were using distort/magnify. This is why I need help to create a layer which reveals all that is underneath it scaled up as I want, whether it is 100%, 200% or 600%.

    Thanks

Not the same method, but is this what you want to do? A magnifying lens?
