  How many FPS with Twixtor would this be?

  I shot in 59.94 fps…Then put it in After Effects and interpreted it as 24fps

  From 24fps I put twistor then after changing some settings, I set the speed to be 5%.

  What frame rate would this be simulating?

  If I am correct, I should take the original frame rate (24fps) then divide by by 5% (which if 1 is 100, then 5 would be .05)

  So my frame rate should be…. 24/.05=480

  But this looks much slower than 480fps. Did I calculate this correctly, or am I wrong?

  Your original source frame rate is not 24fps it’s 59.94fps. When you interpret it at 24fps it’s creating a slow motion effect, then you’re adding more slow motion using Twixtor.

  Substitute 59.94 into your equation and that should be about right.

  59.94 / 0.05 = 1199fps simulated source frame rate
