  Magnifying Glass Question

  I’ve got a logo that I want a magnifying glass to fly over and magnify the elements through the glass. Any thoughts???

  Move the Anchor Point of the magnifying glass layer to the centre of the glass. Apply the Magnify and Bulge effects to the layer you want to “magnify”. Create an expression for the Bulge effect’s Bulge Center parameter and use the Pick Whip to link it to the magnifying glasses Anchor Point parameter. Do the same for the Magnify effect’s Center parameter. Now when you change the magnifying glass position the magnify and bulge effect will follow along.

  Slight correction:
  Link the Magnify and Bulge effect to the magnifying glass’ Position property, not Anchor Point. You can then adjust the magnifying glass layer’s Anchor point values to get the bulge/magnify to sit in the correct position. Dan probably has a neat little expression but this is how I would do it off the top of my head.
