A simple 3D floor
Something that seems like it would be really simple is proving to be a real pain for a newbie like me.
I’d like to create a simple white foor that sort of vanishes into a black horizon.
I’ve started with a comp with a black background, a white 3D solid (scaled up by 1000 percent), and have been playing around with various cameras and lighting settings. I just can’t seem to get it looking quite right. The floor is always too greyish, and the horizon is either too sharp or non-existent.
I imagine this is a starting point for many After Effects projects. Can anyone suggest a good set of initial settings to get me started?
Thanks,
Rob
