  Difficulty with preview in After effects 6 and CC

  I am working on a project in After effects 6, and a recent issue has occurred. As I scrub the composition is accurate in scale (image on left), but if I attempt a ram preview, it zooms in and compresses the subject matter in an odd way (image on right). I am unable to view the compositions properly unless i pre render into an .mov file and replace the comp. Both 2d and 3d layers are affected. I have opened the project in both ae6 and CC, and have installed all available updates, but nothing seems to fix the issue. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

  OS x
  16 gig ram (13 allocated to AE)
  2.7 ghz intel core processor

  Your image is poorly compressed and this hides a lot of the information in the UI. If you want to post something, please ensure that it is of sufficiently good quality.

  As for your issue, it’s very likely a graphics card issue. What GPU are you using and have you ensured that you have the latest drivers installed for this GPU?
