Hello, i want to zoom on layers (space ships) to make them fly towards camera. I can do this but the zoom is not constant (in terms of perception rather than mathimatically) i know you can do this by selecting both key frames and using the key frame assistant select exponential but the exponential function is grey out on my cs4 version of after effects. Apparently i need ae professional. Is there a way round this with normal version of ae? If not where can i buy ae professional? How much should i pay for it. Is there a plugin i can buy? Any advice is greatly appreciated

—- ahh – just remembered this one …..

…. use a combination of z space movement and a scale change — should be fine if you play with it for a bit — use it myself on type zooms…..

    — other idea might work anyway ( ? )
