  import jpeg to match comp length

  im adding a jpeg to a 6:00 comp.
  jpeg is coming in at 1:00
  checked preferences/import — the still footage import by by default is set to import at comp length.
  so, i changed that setting to reflect the actual length of the comp (and unchecked “import at comp length).
  is this just the case with jpegs?
  png and psd’s coming in at comp length.

  but maybe my brain is stuck.

  Are you importing a single file or are you accidentally importing a sequence?
