  Workflow for AE on GH2 footage that needs to be synched with audio first.

  Well, let’s see. I have GH2 footage which is .mts AVCHD files. I have audio recorded in logic (did 44.1k by mistake, but I can convert to 48k) I can output to AIF, WAV, or whatever is preferable. I have clap to align.

  It’s going to end up being heavily edited and manipulated in AE, so I want to gear workflow to that, but needs synched first.

  Looking for best transcoding method for footage, ideal format, and best way to synch that works with that format.

  Got quite a few things coming up that will require this process, so looking to get the flow down right as soon as possible.

  OK, wasn’t sure if the sync should be done in PP or not.
