  How to use effect on a tracked corner pin layer ?

  Hello, i am doing a project where i track a picture frame in mocha and freeze frame myself.
  i am looking to shatter this inside frame. how can i get the shatter effects to be only the the tracked corner pin frame ?

  i have tried placing it inside a comp with the layer, but then the pieces that break dissapair as soon as they hit the end of the frame and not the main comp.

  i tried placing the same corner pin tracking data before the shatter effect, but that crashed AE.

  i also tried a CC Power pin method but with no result.

  does anyone have any idea’s or tips on how to accomplish this ?

  After you corner pin the layer, precomp it(move all attributes into the precomp) and shatter the precomp.
