    but i dunno- looks a bit old hat
    perhaps they done it cinema 4D

    Absolutely done within a 3d app… For a start, you won’t be able to create those contact shadows in AE.

    this company uses AE & Cinema 4D
    so perhaps a combo of the 2

    Ae for the usual color correction, nothing else. They had the logo, imported to C4d, tesselated to small triangles and extruded them along spline deforms. Simple materials and lightning.

    Pretty straightfoward but very well executed.
