  Help using AfterEffects Particle Playground

  I need to make a title disintigrate into a “fairy dust” type look, that falls to the ground. The director is looking for a “magical” look.
  Do I use particle playground or another feature?
  Never done it before, so a tutorial or step by step inst. would be great
