Just recently got a HPX-170, and was wondering if you can you use a E – Series in one slot and a R – Series in the other without problems?

I’m pretty sure that you can NOT mix Series E and Series R P2 cards.

Sorry for the very beginner questions, But is it a problem to run a set of Two R series, And then a set of two E series once those are full? Or is it important to stick with one series all the time?

    Thanks for your help

Have you attempted to mix the card types y et?

I don’t see any tech reason why it would not work.
