    Hi
    I have two output ports of 1280 x 512 with a 1080p my screen is 1344 wide, to enable me to cover the full screen area I have to use both ports my problem is that, port 1 shows the top half of my vid and port 2 shows the bottom half.
    What I would like to do is;
    a) Choose a portion of my vid that will be 1920 x 512
    b) Cut it in half 960 x 512
    c) Cut and paste the right hand 960 x 512 under left hand vid
    d) This would leave me with a 960 x 1024 actual vid size but,
    e) When played on my screen it will be a continuous 1920 x 540

    My sit is I would like to create this for screen test

    My problem is that I have adobe cs5. I am vaguely familiar with AE any suggestions

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    All the best

    Gary

    This may be a case where a picture is worth a thousand words.

    I’d suggest that you could create a 1920×512 comp and place your source footage in that. Position it as you like.

    Create a 960×1024 comp, place your 1920×512 comp inside it, and duplicate the 1920×512 comp’s layer so you have two. Reposition them as necessary.
