memory dump while using AE6!
Hello everyone,
I’m trying to render one video hive file ( got from client ). I’v finished editing like changing texts and images. not a big file not much heavy. after finishing i put it into render in PNG sequence. after rendering some images my pc popups BLUE MEMORY DUMP SCREEN with countdown.
Is that memory issue ? I’v 4 gb ram and i’v given 2 gb to after effect.
My config of pc is :
AMD phenom XII1100T
Asus Crosshair IV formula
Asus HD5770 1gb DDR5 Graphic Card
Transcend AXE Ram 2000mhz 4GB
1tb hddplease help me with this issue.

google the really long error code. it will say ram or video card or hd.
do a burn in test of your parts with hardware testing software to discover parts that overheat or fail under stress. -

I’v scanned my cpu, everything is ok. i used lover ver cs5 and it works little fine while working. but it crashes while end of rendering.
should i increase my ram? any solution to stop crashing by memory dump?

try importing a tiff sequence and rendering out a tiff sequence. that will isolate any codec issues with interframe codecs or unsupported ones.
Are you using PNG?, they are not thread safe for multiprocessing.
Also, check with AE’s recommended RAM allocation. -

yes i’m trying png sequence and also mov. and i’v allocated 2gb ram for after effect and another 2gb for other applications. also i’v moved catch allocation to different drive. i’v given 7gb for catch.
after so much crashing i found one way, it’s little silly but it works.
while rendering after some frame i pauses render and after 1-2 minutes continue rendering. sounds silly but i don’t know but that thing works and my pc stopped crashing. but that trick is not helping with cs6 only works with cs5.I will try with tiff. hope this will work well.
