  Monitoring problem

  I am using an AJA Hi5 converter (HD SDI _ HDMI) to play back from a Panasonic HDX900 camera to a HDMI TV. I am not getting a picture. If I plug into a Panasonic monitor directly from the camera everything seems fine. I have used this system successfully in the past. When I plug the cable into the converter, the ‘lock light’ turns red when the camera is set to output HD SDI, turns green when set to output standard def. Nothing appears on the screen when set to HD SDI, a picture appears when outputting standard def but it is rolling vertically down the screen.

  I am not sure if the converter is faulty, a menu setting is wrong on the camera? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

  Just figured out that the TV is the issue. I had been using a Toshiba that has a wider range of signals that it will accept. Our brand new Sony Bravia does not like the 1080p25 that the camera is outputting. Toshiba was fine with this.
