  Shooting 720p 59.94 to tape and files simultaneously ???

  I have a client that is saying they are shooting DVCPRO-HD tape and recording files simultaneously. They are shooting 720p 59.94. Is that possible? If so how? Are the files P2? I have never heard of this before, “Excuse my ignorance for I am just an Editor.”
