  URGENT: How to import to PC

  Hello. I have a Panasonic VariCam camera (I dont remember the model righ now) and I need to know what i need to import the video to my PC for editing with, for example, Adobe Premiere. Premiere 2.0 can import it directly? I need special hardware? I need special software?

  first you need a tape deck

  then 3rd party hardware (like an aja xena card) to attach the deck to your computer,
  Premier Pro does not support direct capture of DVCPROHD, that codec is only directly supported for FW capture on Avids and Edius.

  Sorry, but what is a tape deck? I’m new in HD and if you could link me a produc useful to this, i would thank you a lot. Also, i would like to know the name of some Third party program compatible with it. Thanks a lot again
